Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalm 46 New King James Version (NKJV) courtesy

The guard pushed another of the lazy prisoners and made him walk.  They need to be ready.  He watched as some of them wandered the halls.  It was silent, but for the shuffling of feet on the floor.  He watched as some got their own Drink.  He prodded others who just sat on the floor against the walls and made them get up and walk.  Lazy.  They were just lazy.

“Move!” he snarled at them.

The door crashed open suddenly, and before he could use his weapon, the invaders had overpowered him and took him prisoner!  All the prisoners stood silent, taking in this strange sight.  They were so stunned they didn’t know what to do.   Some fell against the wall, sliding down to the floor.

The guard now started to fight back, he was furious and had now understood fully what had just happened.  The People tied him tightly.  He yelled at them, “You will not get away with this! You will be caught and punished!  I cannot wait to punish you with my own hands!”

The Commander spoke sharply, “Be STILL” and the guard was silent.

He was shocked when he realized that his mind was still yelling things at the intruders, but his mouth would not say them.  His body would not move.  He was still.  What had just happened?

A little something for your enjoyment.  I would welcome your constructive thoughts.
