It has been quite a week around here. Again. Like most of our weeks.
We did get to do some new things and that was fun. Last week I had written that we needed to do something new and so we went to the mall. Not my favorite place but somewhere different. We ate lunch and wandered the mall for a couple hours. It was fun for something different.

On the way home, we stopped at a cupcake shop. Something we never really do, so it was a real treat! And they WERE!! YUMMY!!!

Saturday we went ice skating at the ice rink. This is the one in our area that Olympic skaters train at. A friend had her daughter’s birthday party there, so we spent a few hours after skating. They had a great time!

For school, we have been doing some fun science things. For example, we learned what happens when you microwave ivory soap. It grows. A LOT!! Other soap also grows we learned, but not as much as ivory. We also broke open glow sticks and mixed red, green and blue together. Funny, it does not make that muddy brown color that you get when you mix paint. It makes a bright glowing green-ish color. It should have gone more white, but it was still cool.

This next week, the youngest starts dance again. She is so excited about that. All three will start some art classes at a local studio with some other homeschool kids in the area. I am hoping they make some new friends.
Today, we celebrate 2 birthdays. One is 20 and the other is 9. Fun fact, they were both born on the same day, and both were over 9lbs. His baby picture is memorable because he had such a round fat little face and both his fists were on either side of his face. He looks like he is going to take on the world! When she was born, she looked like a little Buddha.
Have a great week!!
Blessings,
