This past weekend, Son 4 was in a musical, his first at High School. He loved it and did really well, I thought. Though I may be a little partial.. hehe… And of course, true to form, I totally forgot to take any pictures.
It was called “Honk!” and was the ugly duckling story, just redone a bit. It was funny, sweet and engaging.
He found his niche and I am so happy for him. He loved doing that, loved being on stage, enjoyed the process and in general, is hooked on the stage.
Could be a good or a bad thing!! hehe…
They were so serious in this picture. They seemed to take this whole process very seriously, and I am glad of that.
I told him, good thing the play is done, I have a TON of yard work that needs doing. He was not so happy about that. He is looking for another play to do and do quickly!!
I love to see when my kids, and even the kids I know that aren’t mine per se, find their niche. It’s my personal goal in life. I don’t want them to just get a job and work for the rest of their lives, I want them to live life with passion and love what they are doing. If they don’t, why bother?? Life is too short to do something you don’t really love doing!
