Do I Hafta Be the Mommy?

I don’t want to be the mommy anymore.

I’m tired.  I don’t want to cook or clean for anyone anymore.

I don’t want to be the boss.

I don’t want to discipline you for the umpteenth time for the same thing I have talked to you about…

I don’t want to have to stay up late and wait for you to get home!

I don’t want to have to get up early to make sure you are up for school..

I don’t want to wash yet another sink full of dirty dishes!

You want to eat AGAIN??!!!  Isn’t that like the 2nd time today??!!!

That’s IT!!!!!

Wait…  Did you really just give me a hug for no apparent reason?

You just made laugh hysterically, spitting coffee out my nose!!

AAHHHH…. 80’s tunes sung together in the kitchen by heart, off key and with no music!

YOU CLEANED THE BATHROOM??!!!!  By yourself???!

“I love you Mommy.”  said the youngest.

“I love you Mom,” said the oldest.

“Mom I need you.” said another.

Mother’s day is right around the corner.  I guess I will stay until then.  Never know what these kids have dreamed up.  Might be fun.  Ok.  Next Monday.  That’s it. I will not be the mommy after that.

Blessings,

Vicki
