I needed to get dog food today. I recalled that as I was passing the store we usually buy it at. I quickly turned around at the next light, and then as I was making my way back to the store, I remembered.
It’s Saturday. Just before Christmas too.
Nope. Not going in there today!
Instead I sent my daughter, who I actually thought was going to be at work for a while yet, and by then, the crowds should have died down. She wasn’t and they weren’t. She was sure to thank me for that when she got home.
I also realized it was Saturday and I totally forgot to work on a Shopping Saturday post for today. I have got to use one of those scheduling tools that are available that I haven’t tried out yet. Or, better yet, follow the calendar and write it down!!
Back to shopping….
This week I thought I would highlight Norwex. My daughter, and pretty much everyone around us, sells Norwex now. Same with the essential oils really. The nice thing though, is that they do go very well together. Norwex cleans the house and oils make it smell clean without all the chemicals.
It’s a win, win.
Norwex has some awesome cleaning cloths and such. Personally, I use my Enviro cloth all. The. Time. It’s so awesome. All I do is get my cloth wet with hot water, then wipe down everything!! Well, except screens. For that I use the window cloth and polishing towel. If I decide to dust, because someone went and moved something, or wrote in the dust, I use the blue dust mitt. That’s it. Water and cloth.
I love it!
I love my Norwex products because, 1. I can clean most of my house with just the Enviro cloth and a window cloth, and 2. I add no extra chemicals to my house. Here is the theory behind Norwex from their website:
At only 1/200th the size of a strand of human hair, Norwex Microfiber is one of the most innovative products in the cleaning industry today. When combined with the unique Norwex knitting process, Norwex Microfiber becomes a highly effective cleaning agent and can hold up to seven times its weight in matter. Unlike cotton cloths that will simply spread the dirt, grease and other particles around, Norwex BacLock® * Microfiber lifts these particles up into the cloth and away from the surface. Once inside the cloth, the Norwex micro silver in the cloth goes to work with self-purification properties against mold, fungi and bacterial odor within 24 hours, so that it is ready to use again.
I will add a link to my blog to my daughter’s Norwex site that you can click on any time if you would like to order.
Here are some ideas for December gift giving:
I have to say, I love everything of theirs that I have tried so far. The dryer balls are so cool! I can add them to my dryer with a few drops of essential oils and it makes my clothes smell so good, without all the chemicals of dryer sheets!! They also remove the static while they fluff your clothes.
Have you tried Norwex yet?? What are your favorites??
